(C-HCBS) Waiver
The staff at ARA will assist you with obtaining Medicaid for your disabled child in a variety of ways, free of charge. ARA is an intake and case management agency for the Children's-Home Community Based Services Medicaid Waiver (C-HCBS). The C-HCBS waiver is for medically fragile children from ages 0 to 18 who qualify based on their medical needs. The case managers at ARA provide comprehensive case management for each client. Case managers will assist you in understanding your child's benefits and finding appropriate services. You will be given a list of providers offering therapies, supplies and/or equipment that your child needs to reach his/her maximum potential.
